February 13, 2010Mrs. Mary Pettiford Martin, (Tiny) age 85 of Raleigh departed this life on Saturday, February 13,2010.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, at the St. Hope Missionary Baptist Church,7337 Church Bend Road, Spring Hope, NC. Burial, Pettiford Family Cemetery. Visitation 3-8PM Wednesday at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
Mary leaves to mourn: daughters, Brenda Joyce Martin Woods and Cheryl Denise Martin McLean, one son Jerryl Adrian and his wife, Cheryl F. Martin. Daughter-in-law, Patricia C. Martin Holt. four grandchildren: VaRonica Ann Martin, Vonda Kai Martin, Shahidah Martin Hagans, Chloe Denise Martin Easley, and her husband Nathan. Seven great grandchildren: Brazlon, Jaylon, Kairon, JaQuanna, Shaheed, Qua-Nay, and Jaqwan. She also leaves sisters Thelma Cornese Pettiford, Tabitha P. Glasper both of Spring Hope, N.C. (Four sisters, Alberta P. Cooper, Gertie P. Lacy, Ivelia P. Bullock, and Celia P. Hall, preceded her in death); and one brother, Finley Smith Pettiford of Spring Hope, N.C.; Beloved nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
