July 12, 2010Mr. David Lucas of Spring Hope, departed this earthly life Monday, July 12, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 17 at 1:00PM at the Red Oak Grove Baptist Church, Stanhope with Dr. J.B. Woodhouse, Officiating. Burial, Spring Hope Memorial Gardens. Visitation 3-8PM Friday, William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
Survivors: wife, Reba N. Lucas; daughter, Renay Letrese Lucas of the home; son, Tremayne Lucas of Raleigh; mother, Veola Lucas; sisters, Dorothy Aman of Raleigh, Betty Forte and Mary Ann Forte of Raleigh, Cynthia Forte of Garner and Tonya Boyd of Maryland; brothers, William Forte of Clayton and Billy Ray Forte of New Jersey; 2 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
