July 12, 2010Mr. Hubert Rogers departed this earthly life in Washington, DC.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00PM at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Bunn. Interment will take place at the church cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving devoted wife, Thelma D. Rogers; sons, Anthony Hubert (Valerie) of Bowie, MD, Arnold Hugh of Durham, NC; granddaughters, Amber, Shenell, and Erika; brothers, Henry (Gloria) of Bunn, NC, David (Shirley) of Goldsboro, NC; sisters, Roberta (John) Purcell of Knightdale, NC, Dorethea (Moses) Burrell of Raleigh, NC; sister-in-law, Alice Rogers of Bunn, NC; aunts, Mary V. High of Dumphries, VA, and Liza Rogers of Bunn, NC; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn D. Perry of Durham, NC; brothers in law, Fred D. Davis (Evelyn) and Calvert Davis of Louisburg, NC; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death were; two sisters, Myrtle Rogers and Edith Wright; three brothers, Joseph, Frank and James; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Davis, Charlotte Rogers, and two brothers-in-law, Lorenzo Perry and Johnny Wright.
