Mr. Arvell Richardson, age 80 of Spring Hope, departed this life on July 18, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Spring Hope. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Nashville.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at William Toney's Funeral Home of Spring Hope.

Survivors: wife, Jannie Richardson; daughters, Bessie Broome(James,Sr.) of Morristown, NJ and Robin Bacon (Cephas) of Parsippany, NJ; sons, Leonard Richardson (Michelle) of Kinston, James Richardson of Whiteville, Darrin Richardson of Washington, DC and Gregory Richardson (Trenace) of Waldolf, MD; brothers, Linwood Richardson (Dorothy) of Nashville, Needham Richardson of Spring Hope and Robert Richardson; several grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
