Mr. Ayan Layo, age 62 of Spring Hope, departed this earthly life on Friday, July 5, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Word Tabernacle Church, Rocky Mount, NC. Burial, Meeks Cemetery, Spring Hope. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-6 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

Survivors: his wife, Jewel S. Thorne; sons, JaJa Layo of New Jersey, Biyan Layo of Spring Hope; two aunts, Mamie Alston and Mary Arrington of Spring Hope; one uncle, Eddie Mangum of Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends.
