Mr. Charles C. Smith, age 69 of Durham departed this life on May 4, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Wakefield Missionary Baptist Church, 809 Proctor Street, Zebulon, NC. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  devoted wife, Emma Smith;  five children, Cynthia Whyte (Brian) of Durham, NC, Deana Stewart (Patrick) of Laurel, MD, Eduardo Smith of Washington, DC, Jessyce Smith of Fayetteville, NC and Charnese Boulware (Tyree) of Hyattsville, NC; two sisters, Rachel Lucas of Wendell, NC and Shirley Bynum of Selma, NC; two sisters-in-law, Rosa Smith and Irene Hemby (Jas) of Raleigh, NC; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
