Mr. Earl Johnson

Mr. Earl Johnson, age 81 of Nashville, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2pm at Staright Gate Holliness Church in Nashville. Burial will conclude at St. Hope Baptist Church.

A Wake will be held on Saturday night from 6-7pm at William Toney's Funeral Home Spring Hope.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his wife, Susie L. Johnson of the home; one brother:  Abraham Johnson, Jr. of Cherry Hill, NJ; three sisters: Vivian Council and Mary Ellen Collier of Trenton, New Jersey and Jean Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; three brothers-in-law: James Henry Lucas (Linda), Harold Lucas (Ethel) and Jesse Lucas (Evelyn) of Spring Hope, NC; three sisters-in-law: Mary Thrower and Tammy Lucas of Spring Hope, NC and Faye Garrett (Tracy) of Holly Springs, NC; two stepdaughters: Lola Lynch (Kellen) of Spring Hope, NC;  Beverly Jones (Shawn) of Nashville, NC; and the grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as “Gramps”: Melonie Billups (Bryan) of Knightdale, NC, Monica Mitchell (Alton) of Pittsburgh, PA, Justin, Liberty and Nicholas Henderson of Nashville, NC, Jamel and Andrea Jones of Warrenton, NC; one great granddaughter, Jasmyne Davis of Spring Hope, NC and one great grandson, Alexander Mitchell of Pittsburgh, PA and a host of other relatives and friends.
