Mr. Fred James Sumpter, III age 48 of Wendell, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Riley Hill Baptist Church, Wendell.  Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-7PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, 216 E Barbee Street, Zebulon, NC.

He is survived by: his wife, De'Shele Sumpter of Wendell; children, De'Asha Sumpter and Micah Sumpter of the home; his mother, Janice  Sumpter of Sanford; sister, Donna Nelson (Cecil) of Sanford; a host of other relatives and friends.
