Mr. James Alexander "Alex" Avent, age 64 of Whitakers, departed this earthly life on Monday, July 2, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Fellowship Church, 1114 S. First Street, Nashville, NC with a visitation from 12-1PM, prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in the St. Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Spring Hope.
