Mr. Johnnie Baker

Mr. Johnnie Baker, age 73 of Nashville, departed this earthly life on Sunday May 13, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church, Nashville.  Interment will follow at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens, Spring Hope.

A visitation will be held from 3-7PM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory:  wife,  Dorothy Baker of the home; three children, Johnnie Baker III (Jacqueline) of Nashville, NC, Larry Baker (Shawneque) of Zebulon NC, and Pamela Baker of Durham, NC, grandchildren, Shamika McDuffie (James), Rhenada Bulluck (Jonathan), Kiara Baker, Sherell Baker, Jamarcus Smith, Makiya Smith, Lamiya Smith, and Jada Baker;  great grandchildren, Karson Whitehead, Destani Bulluck, James McDuffie Jr. and Faith McDuffie; one sister, Janice Baker of Rocky Mount, NC, five brothers, Lee Edward Baker, Willie Baker of Spring Hope, NC, Rev. Larry Baker (Betty) of Tarboro NC, Bobby Baker of Philadelphia, PA, and Edward Charles Baker (Lovie) of Nashville, NC; special aunts, Thelma Cameron of Nashville, NC, and Lue Baker of Spring Hope NC; eight sisters-in-law, Barbara Richardson, Janice McCann (George) of Rocky Mount NC, Annie Jones, Leah Mann (William), Betty Cooper (Levern), Carolyn Avent (Hiawatha) of Rocky Mount NC, Annette Jones (Timothy) of Nashville, NC, Elphira Baker of Nashville, NC; two brothers-in-law, Thurman Gardner (Delores) of Newport News, VA, and Edward Eley (Stefanie) of Germany;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
