Mr. Melvin Jones

Mr. Melvin Jones, Sr. age 96 of Raleigh, departed this earthly life on Wednesday March 28, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. John United Holy Church, Zebulon.  Interment will follow  at the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 3-5PM, with the family receiving friends from 5-6PM, Monday, April 2, 2018 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.  

He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Melvin Jones, Jr. (Wanda) of Wendell, Bobby Jones, Sr. of Raleigh, Joyce Boyd and Daphine Hodge both of Durham, Donald Jones (Brenda) of Canadanqua, NY, Larry Jones of Decatur, GA, Patricia Todd (Griffin) of Zebulon, and Darlene Smith (Albert) of Wendell; 28 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; one sister, Dorethea Gibbs of New Jersey.  a host of other relatives and friends.
