Mr. Whaylon Hopkins, age 90 of Bunn, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Wakefield Missionary Baptist Church, Zebulon.  Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

A visitation will be held from 3-7PM, Friday, October 26, 2018 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Gwendolyn Hopkins and Deborah Manning (Paul) of Durham NC; one son, Donald Hopkins (Jackie) of Wendell NC; six grandchildren, Jacquin Hopkins (Yolanda) of Bunn, NC, Bridget Hopkins and Jalisa Hopkins of Raleigh, NC, Tondra Manning of Durham, NC, Marques Manning (Elizabeth) of Roseville, NC, and Latrice Lewis (Roosevelt) of New Jersey; one sister-in-law, Loraine Hopkins of Garner, NC, ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
