Mrs. Hester Coan

Mrs. Hester Coan, 93 of Sims, departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Graveside Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Wilson, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday at William Toney’s Funeral Home, 516 S. Poplar Street, Spring Hope.

Cherishing her memories are: God-son, Walter Stevens (Nannie) and family of Kenly, NC; God-daughter, Saundra Blount and family of Wilson, NC; nieces, Shirley Allen and Jean Pratt of Baltimore, MD; the Reeves Family; the Coan Family; special cousin, Melvin Davis; the Jones Family; the Dunston Family; the Coleman Family; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She also held strong ties to her community club and its members. Special friends include the Parkers, Mrs. Gracie, Mrs. Josephine and the Sammy Barnes Family.

Hester lead a full, rich life and was loved by many.  She will be greatly missed by all whom she knew.
