Mrs. Shirley Newton Cannady

Mrs. Shirley Newton Cannady, age 79, departed this earthly life on Wednesday April 25, 2018.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, Wendell.  Interment, Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

A Visitation will be observed from 6-8 PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

She is survived by: her children: Michael Laurence (Georgetta) of Rocky Mount, Jessica Cannady and Douglas Cannady both of the home; 4 grandchildren, Alexandria Cannady, Jazmine Richardson, Marcus Cannady and Jakobe Cannady; 1 great grandchild; her sister, Mernel Treacy (Michael) of Yonkers, NY; special aunt, Thelma Smith of Queens, NY; a host of others relatives and friends.
