On March 2, 2021, Clarence Cooley Sessoms Jr., age 59, formerly of Nash County, NC, transitioned to his eternal rest with the God at his residence in Bronx, New York.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Greater St. Bethel United Holy Church, 11441 Claude Lewis Road, Middlesex, NC. (Note: Due to the pandemic, there will be limited attendance capacity) If you would like to join the family virtually, you may do so through Mr. Clarence Cooley Sessoms, Jr.’s obituary page at www.williamtoneys.com., beginning at 2 PM.
A visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Friday, March 12, 2021 at William Toney’s Funeral Home, Spring Hope, NC.
Interment will be held immediately following the services at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens, Spring Hope, NC.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife, Mabel LeSane-Sessoms of Bronx, NY; his forever beloved mother, Ruby Mae Perry Sessoms of Middlesex, NC; his devoted mother-in-law, Alice Lesane of Wake Forest, 5 Sons: Warren LeSane (Tiffany) of Queens, NY, Dwayne Wilkins of Raleigh, NC, Sergeant First Class Tyrene LeSane (Fallyn) of Brooklyn, NY, Clarence (Annabelle) Sessoms, III of Brooklyn, NY, Quest’on (Maria) Sessoms of Bronx, NY, 1 adopted son, Eddie Morrison of NY; 2 daughters: Elisha Sessoms of Lawrenceville, GA and Tamillia (Juan) Taylor of Wilson, NC; 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers: Douglas (Karen) Sessoms of VA, Michael Sessoms of Cary, NC, Randy (Veronica) Sessoms of MD, Lorenza Sessoms of Middlesex, NC; 4 Sisters: Betty Ruth “Alice Mae” Johnson of Middlesex, NC, Vernice (Terry) Canady of Rocky Mount, NC, Teresa Sessoms of Middlesex, NC and Patricia (Samuel) Sessoms of Middlesex, NC. 2 brothers-in-law: Lindberg LeSane and Alfonso LeSane, both of Bronx, NY, 2 sisters-in-law: Shirley LeSane of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Martha (Michael) John of Wake Forest, NC. 1 adopted brother, Alton “Mudbone” Thomas of Bronx, NY; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other close relatives and lots of friends.
