Obituary

Mr. Earl Shelton Perry, age 72 of Spring Hope departed this life on March 25, 2023.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 31, at 1:00PM at St. Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hope. Burial will follow in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM-1:00PM prior to services with the family being present from 12:30 PM-1:00PM.

He is survived by: his wife, Avonne Perry of Carrboro; children, Laura Hurt (Michael) of South Hill, VA; Christopher Perry of Rocky Mount, Tamala Perry of Chapel Hill, and Travis Perry of Carrboro; sisters, Kathy Finch of Zebulon, Trevon Johnson (Robert) of VA, Sara D. Perry of Spring Hope and Donna Gamble (Centry) of CT; brothers, Ronald E. Perry and Ronnie Perry both of Spring Hope; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two aunts, Barbara McDonald and Magalene Marshall; a host of other relatives and friends.
