Obituary
Mr. Elijah Dwayne Blalock, age 61, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Wake County, NC, departed this earthly life on Friday, April 7, 2023.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Mount Peace Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to the service,the family will be present at the church from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM. A public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023, at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Wendell.
Left to cherish Elijah's memories is Mary Evonne Blalock; three daughters, Marlene (Ronzelle) Green of Stafford, VA, Abrianna Blalock, and Nakiya Blalock, both of the home; father, Elijah Blalock of Raleigh; four brothers, Anthony (Gloria) Blalock, Rev. Kevin C. Blalock both of Raleigh, Haywood (Syreeta) Blalock of Bunn and Sam Blalock of Raleigh; four sisters, Evangelist Terrie Lynne Cooper of Graham, Cynthia Blalock (Robert) Jones of Wendell, Debra Blalock Holden of Cedar Grove, NC, Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Blalock (Rhodney) Montague of Wilmington, six uncles, six aunts, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
