Obituary
Mr. Gabriel Farmer, Jr., age 69 of Zebulon departed this life on May 20, 2023.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.
A viewing will be held from 11:00AM - 1:00PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Gabriel was known by friends and most family as “Dino”. He was a kind and congenial person who maintained a good sense of humor until the end. He bore his illness with patience.
He leaves to cherish his memory with love: his devoted wife, Barbara H. Farmer; nine children, Martino Brown (Rosalyn), Keisa Johnson (Baleegh), Gabriel Farmer III (Tamaura), Kiera Ford, Classitta Hill, Darrell Hill, Dwayne Perry, Effie Perry and Ivory Robinson; one sister, Judith F. Jones (Sean Sr.) of Atlanta, GA.; two brothers, Albert G. Farmer (Stella) of Hampton, VA and James A. Farmer (Bump) of Norfolk, VA; 32 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
