Mr. James "Buck" Jones

Mr. James "Buck" Jones, age 84 of Rocky Mount, departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1:00PM at St. Mary Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ in Bailey. Burial will follow in Middlesex Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM -1:00PM prior to services at the church. Arrangements are being provided by William Toney's Funeral Home in Spring Hope.

He is survived by: his children, James Jones, Jr. (Linda) of Philadelphia, PA, Tonya McLamb of Raleigh, and DeShantal Doughty Battle (Keith) of Rocky Mount; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his siblings, McCoy Jones (Bertha) of Spring Hope, Franklin Jones (Pandora) of Washington, DC, Mae Smith of Raleigh, Dandy Doughty (Ezzie) of Bailey, Earl Jones of Spring Hope, Essie LaVern Dowdy of Raleigh, Linda Faye Horton (Willie) of Spring Hope, Kenneth Lucas and  Shirley Duncan of Raleigh, Cynthia McKinnon (Phillip) of Nashville and Lottie Hinnant (Dwight) of Raleigh; of host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
