Obituary
Mr. James Walter Lucas age 90 of Zebulon, NC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Zebulon Baptist Church, 400 N. Arendell Avenue, Zebulon. Interment will follow in the Lucas Family Cemetery, Spring Hope. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM -12:00 PM, prior to services at the Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Jamie (Marvin), Marcie (Cory), Denise, and Roxanne (James); sons, Jermaine (Daphane) and James; stepson, David; brothers, Willie, Zell (Malaney), and Calvin (Jennifer); sister, Mary; grandchildren, Glenn, Shakita, Alexia, Iyana, Keshawn, Donte, Jewel, Jermaine (Jr), Lawanda, Francheska, Durand, Derrius, Crystal, Christopher, Jessica, Charmayne, Chelsea, and Miles; thirty-six great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, including Tina, a niece that he had a special bond with; and long-time friends and garden members, Ray & Jestine.
Arrangements are being provided by William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon, NC.
