Mr. John Whitfield

Mr. John Henry Whitfield, age 62 of Middlesex, departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Nash UNC Healthcare in Rocky Mount.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1:00PM at William Toney's Funeral Home Chapel in Zebulon. Burial will follow in the Young Family Cemetery in Wake Forest. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3-7PM at William Toney's Funeral Home.

He is survived by: his wife, Peggy Whitfield; one daughter, Sparkle Crumel of Middlesex; four sons, John E. Whitfield of Middlesex, Justin Whitfield and Dyon Whitfield of Wilson, Telvin Whitfield of Middlesex; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Barbara) Whitfield of Wilson, James Whitfield of Middlesex; three sisters, Patricia (Elvis) Perry of Bailey, Janice (Sam) Smith of Middlesex, Edith (Raymond) Whitfield of Middlesex; his in-laws, Frank (Rada) Crumel , Angela Riley, Sallie (Jeff) Grimes, Frank (Cynthia) Crumel, Jr. and James Crumel all of Bailey and Florine Whitfield of Middlesex; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
