Mr. Joseph Edward Harris, age 99 of Wendell, departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Plesant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Wendell. Those who would like to join the family during the Celebration of Life can stream through William Toney's Funeral Home's facebook page at 11:00AM.  Please see the link below.

Joe is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gaybella Barnes Harris of Wendell, NC. Two daughters, Joanne Dunn of N. Las Vegas, N.V., Vonseal Harris Fox of Raleigh, N.C., three sons Ray Harris of Durham, N.C., Phillip Harris and Joe Daniel Harris of Wendell, N.C.; Four sisters, Katie Harris Jones, Della Harris Clemons, Mary Frances Montague, Delores Harris Goodson of Richmond, VA.; Six grandchildren, Amber Harris of Durham, N.C., Charnique Fox of Raleigh, N.C., Justin Harris of Moreno Valley, C.A., Jasmine Harris of Fort Lauderdale, F.L., Ursula Dunn of Las Vegas, N.V., and Sonja Daye of Raleigh, N.C.; 11 great grandchildren and a host of Family and Friends.
