Mr. Leonard Garfield Scarborough, age 64 of Knightdale, departed this earthly life on Sunday, July 18, 2021. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Riley Hill Baptist Church, Wendell. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM - 11:00AM with the family receiving friends from 10:30-11:00AM prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

A viewing will be held from 3-7PM, Friday, July 23, 2021 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife of 38 years, Shelia Carpenter Scarborough of the home; daughter, Taryn Olivia Scarborough of Raleigh, NC; Sisters, Annie Rose Moore, Evelyn Lovett (Henry), Lallia Faison (Johnny), Mary Ann McKnight, Hazel Scarborough and Harriet Abraham Lunsford all of Raleigh, NC; Brothers, Tony Scarborough and Curtis Scarborough, both of Raleigh, NC; Special Friend/Brother, Joseph Holt; Father and Mother-in-law, Frank, Sr. and Olivia Carpenter; Sister-in-law, Janice Harris; Brother-in-law, Frank Carpenter, Jr. (Jennis); Furbabies, Ony and Lucy, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
