Mr. Michael Hamilton Mitchell, age 66 departed this life on June 6, 2022 at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00PM at Good Hope Baptist Church in Knightdale, NC. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.

He is survived by:  his daughter, Tasha Flowers (Christopher) of Raleigh;  grandchildren, Shynasti Parker of Dallas, TX and Christopher Flowers of Raleigh; his mother, Blanche Mitchell of Wendell; sisters, Julia Mordecai (Ted) of Wendell, Brenda Starks (Howard) of Richmond, VA., Wilhelmina Staggers (Joseph) of Zebulon and Jacqueline Mitchell of Wendell, NC; one brother, Jimmy Mitchell (Juliett) of Knightdale, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.
