Obituary
Mr. Roy Lee Richardson, age 61 of Nashville, departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at William Toney's Funeral Home Chapel located at 516 S. Poplar Street, Spring Hope, NC. Prior to the service, a Public Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the chapel.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Nakivia Richardson (Billy Gupton) of Whitakers, NC and his son, Roy Latron “Tron” Richardson (Joanne Alston) of Rocky Mount, NC; two granddaughters, Anylah Perry of Zebulon, NC and Kimora Gupton of Whitakers, NC; a grandson, Jordan Richardson of Rocky Mount, NC; three sisters, Margarette Leonard of Richmond, VA, Linda Jones (Preston) of Raleigh, and Wendy Richardson of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Edwin (Buck) Richardson of Nashville, Everette (Chris) Richardson of Spring Hope; and his former wife, Sandra Baines Richardson. He will be missed by all and forgotten by none...to know Roy was to love him.
