Obituary
Mr. Weldon Dempsey Harris, age 84 of Spring Hope departed this life on April 4, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at St. Hope Baptist Church located at 7337 Church Bend Road, Spring Hope, NC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A public viewing will be held from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Monday, April 10, 2023, at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
Mr. Harris leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Bettie Lucas Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and David Richardson; son, Michael Harris; son-in-law, Ronnie Perry; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Inez Spaulding of Whiteville, NC, Margie Lucas (Clifton) of GA, and Ruth Harris of Spring Hope, NC; brother, Lyndell Harris of Spring Hope, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
