Mrs. Janice Smith

Mrs. Janice Whitfield Smith, age 68 of Middlesex, departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Middlesex.  Interment will follow at Middlesex Memorial Gardens, Middlesex.

A viewing will be held from 4:00PM - 7:00PM, Monday, March 25, 2024 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving husband, Sam Smith.  Children: Christopher Craddock of Middlesex, NC; Leonda Barnes (Darryl) of Knightdale, NC; Chad Smith (Pepor) of Wendell, NC; Jeffrey Smith (Kimberly) of Rocky Mount, NC; and Samantha Smith of the home. Siblings: Robert Whitfield (Barbara) of Saratoga, NC; Patricia Whitfield Perry (Elvis) of Bailey, NC; James Whitfield of Middlesex, NC; Edith Whitfield (Raymond) of Middlesex, NC.  Sister-in-Laws: Florine Whitfield of Middlesex, NC; Peggy Whitfield of Bailey, NC; Linda Ferguson of Knightdale, NC; Dianne Burgess (Jerry) of Middlesex, NC; Brenda Smith of Middlesex, NC; Jennie Perry of Spring Hope, NC; and Ira Smith of Raleigh, NC.  Brother-in-Laws: Henry Smith of Middlesex, NC; Bobby Smith (Roddie) of Knightdale, NC; and Wallace Smith of Wendell, NC.  Grandchildren: Alysia, Chasity, Malik, Mekhi, Chase, Mason, Bryson, Ryen and Jeffrey Jr.; Great Grandchild: Ameira; and numerous nieces and nephews.
