Mrs. Mary (Powell) Hart

Mrs. Mary Hart, age 95, of Nashville, NC, departed this life on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at 12 PM, on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount, NC. Interment will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane, Rocky Mount.

A visitation will be held from 3-7 PM, on Friday, July 16, 2021, at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

Four daughters, Earlene Tillman  (Nathaniel) of Virginia Beach, VA, Audrey Richardson (Reverend Bobby) of Spring Hope, Mary Mildred Drake of Rocky Mount, NC and Sharon Hart of the home; three sons, Donald Cherry (Glinda) of St. Louis, Missouri, George Hart of the home, and William Hart of Benson, NC; stepchildren, Wilhelmina H. Taylor of Wilson and Melvina H. Barnes of Rocky Mount, Bull Hart and Oscar Hart (Gloria) of Portsmouth, VA, siblings, Geraldine Gorham and Corine Barnes of Bridgeport, CT, Betty Jean Bullock (Jimmie) of Rocky Mount and Bishop George Powell of Rocky Mount; daughter-in-law, Linda Hart and brother-in-law, Columbus Johnson; Over 28 grandchildren; over 49 great grandchildren; over 22 great great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
