Mrs. Tribia Jean Brinkley Kennedy, age 70 of Chesapeake VA, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM at St. Stephen Baptist Church, 518 S. Pine Street, Spring Hope. Burial, Meeks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM on Sunday, June 23 at William Toney's Funeral Home, 516 S. Poplar Street, Spring Hope, NC.

She is survived by: her husband, John W. Kennedy, Sr.; her children, John W. Kennedy, Jr. (Kimberly Vandermeulen) and Delious T. Kennedy both of Los Angeles, CA, Meredith L. Kennedy-West (Jeffrey) of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Joyce Anderson of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Amarra Kennedy and Renaja Rader of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Delious Tyree Kennedy of Chesapeake, VA; a host of other relatives and friends.
