Ms. Catherine Bailey

Ms. Catherine Bailey, age 80 of Bailey, departed this earthly life on Friday, September 3, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Churchof Christ, Disciples of Christ, Bailey. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-7 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home in Spring Hope.  

She leaves to cherish her memories: five children, Helen Jean Woodard of Rocky Mount, Trustee Clarence Barnes and Toney Bailey of Bailey, NC, Minister Mildred Brown-Farmer of the home and Deacon Derrick Lucas of Bunn, NC; 17 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren; Two sisters, Nora Lee Woodard of Spring Hope, NC and Edith Woodard of Zebulon, NC.  One brother, Jimmie Woodard of Bailey, NC. One uncle, Ezekiel Woodard. Special Friends, Odell Dunn of Bailey, NC, Cynthia Woodard of Raleigh, NC and La-Tasha Merritt of Zebulon, NC. Extended Daughters: Cynthia Coppage of Bailey, NC and Delois Person of Middlesex, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
