Ms. Doris Jean Batchelor, age 57 of Middlesex, departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 1:00PM at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-12:30 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Zebulon, NC. prior to services.

She is survived by: her children, Regina Carpenter of Middlesex, Clea Latoya Carpenter of Zebulon and Daylan D. Wright of Wilson; 4 grandchildren;  sisters,  Annie Miles (O'Royster) of Zebulon, Judy Vines (Alton) of Louisburg,  Elaine Carter of Wilson,  Mildred Woodard of Zebulon, Detris Smith (Stephon) of Wake Forest; brothers, Danny Batchelor of Raleigh,  Eddie Batchelor (Monique) of Bailey, William Batchelor (Stephanie) of Louisburg, Timothy Batchelor of Middlesex, Pastor Spencer Batchelor, Jr. (Tomeka) of Wendell and Ronnie Batchelor of Zebulon;
