Obituary

Ms. Doris Marie Wiggins, age 62 of Nashville, departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2022, at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church located in Nashville, NC.  Interment will follow at the William Morris Family Cemetery, Rocky Mount.  Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.

To Cherish her fond memories, she leaves two sons, Shunquillis Wiggins and Christopher Wiggins, both of the home; one granddaughter, Tesiah Hunter of Rocky Mount, NC; a special son, Torrell Armstrong; two sisters, Maxie Parks (Wesley) and Geraldine Edgerton (June), all of Nashville, NC; one sister-in-law, Cynthia Wiggins of Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other relatives and friends; and a special friend, Willie Richardson.
