Ms. Geraldine Thorne, age 73 of Bunn, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Rex UNC Healthcare.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 1:00PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.  Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisburg.

A viewing will be held from 3:00PM - 7:00PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.

She is survived by: one son, Ronald Thorne of the home; sisters, Christine Alston of Bunn, Barbara Jones, (Frank) of Louisburg and Doretha Thorne of Franklinton; one brother, Lessie Thorne of Goldsboro; a close friend, Cheryl Cooke; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
