Ms. Janie Mae Payton, age 69 of Spring Hope departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Meeks Cemetery, Spring Hope. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 3-7 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home in Spring Hope, NC.

She is survived by: her children, Falicia Downey (Brian),Tamiko Perry (Linwood), and James Cleveland Vick (Mia) of Spring Hope, Latorria Vick of Bailey, Lori Vick of Spring Hope and her step son, Rodney Vick of Virginia; her mother, Mrs. Lula Joyner of Spring Hope; Siblings, Shirley Wilson of Spring Hope, Gloria Perry (James) of Bunn, James Joyner (Beth) of Wilson and Christy Cooper (Fred) of Spring Hope; 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a host nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
