Ms. Linda Mitchell

Ms Linda Faye Mitchell, age 63 was born February the 27th 1957 in Nash County to the late Harvey Lee Mitchell and Sallie Marie Mitchell.  She entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Linda attended James E. Sherpard High School.  Linda managed 3 local restaurants in Wake County, NC, and worked for many years at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. 

At an early age Linda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. She served as an usher and sang in the choir at church. 

Linda was known for her kindness and caring spirit. 

Left to cherish sweet memories are: her daughter Tracy Mitchell (Marcus); son Carlton Mitchell; four grandchildren;  grandson Tre' Lyon; granddaughters Alexus Mitchell, Aur'ionna Mitchell, and Makayla Lyon, brother William Mitchell (Lisa); sisters Lorraine Jones, Irene Russell (Herman), Dorothy Mann, and Ernestine Holder (Donald); aunt; Rachel Montague; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 3-7 PM at William Toney's Funeral Home, 216 E. Barbee Street, Zebulon, NC.
