We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed way". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7) jw.org

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one, Emmit. May you find comfort in the words written at John 5:28,29, where God promises to bring back to life those we have lost in death by means of a resurrection. In the near future He will also eliminate our enemy, death. (Isaiah 25:8) This gives us the wonderful hope of being reunited with our loved ones, forever. Until then, I hope the memories of Emmit and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.
