I want to first express my condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one, and I also want to thank all of you for sharing him for so many years with those he served in the Wilson community. I met many interesting people during my time in Wilson, but Howard was among the greatest. His commitment to those who needed a helping hand and his belief that with just the right nudge those who were temporarily down could rise and give back remains an inspiration. He was a truly great man, and his legacy will resonate for generations among those he served and those who knew him.
